What to Expect

Tanglewood Lodge is a family owned and operated lodge. To ensure you are prepared to stay with us, please read the information below about what we provide and things to be mindful of.

Our amenities include basic kitchenette sets and utensils (any other paper goods are not supplied), including toiletries like shampoo and conditioner is not supplied. We do have a supply room in the middle of the lodge with extra towels and dishware which we will direct you to once you get here, so don’t worry if you need more pots, pans and plates! We have grills outside your door that are for your use as well. We do not supply charcoal so just be mindful of that.

We are quite a drive to any food location or store so it is best to plan ahead. If you need more storage space than a mini fridge can provide, you are welcome to bring ice chests because we provide bagged ice at 3.00 per bag!

The end of summer and fall is when the water level is low enough to enjoy our beach…which is quite rocky! If you would like to be comfortable on the sharp rocks, water shoes or some other kind of footwear is recommended. We want you to enjoy the lake as much as possible!

Maximum of 2 pets are welcome since we are pet friendly! Pets need to be crated while inside the room, and we do not allow pets left unattended in the room if you are off the property. We do not allow pets on our beds at all. Our cleaning fee for pets on the bed are hefty to deter guests in doing so.

Note* Tanglewood Lodge is a non discriminatory location that enjoys getting to know every walk of life from any corner of the world that you call home! Our booking policy includes the ability to cancel fully with full refund 5 days before your stay. There is no refund within that window and no refund even if you check out early. The use of illegal substances are banned on this property. If there are inappropriate behaviors in any sexual or aggressive way, verbal or physical, you and your party will be forced to vacate the property with no refunds and charged cleaning fees accordingly and if contraband or remains of it are found in your room or in your occupied space.

This lodge is shared space and in doing so we ask you be mindful of your neighbors. We ask that non family friendly music and behavior be self policed and if you are approached to change or stop a behavior that is damaging to the people near you that you respectfully comply. This is private property and as much as we want you and your group to have a great time on the lake, this is a large lodge with many different groups all trying to enjoy themselves. We have the right to refuse service with no refund and retain the right to remove parties if they become an issue to their surrounding area or personal staff. Thank you for your understanding that this is a hotel, and we do our best to ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
