Tanglewood has long been a staple of the Beaver Lake community with families making it their spot to enjoy the lake since the 1960’s. In fact, there are families who have called Tanglewood home every summer for over 30 years. As one of only a handful of lodging options on the lake and specifically directly on the water, Tanglewood is a prime spot to enjoy all that Beaver Lake has to offer.Beaver Lake boasts almost 500 miles of shoreline and over 44 square miles of water rightfully being regarded as one of the best lakes in Arkansas and a jewel of the Ozarks. We are proud to offer a secluded and affordable retreat for people of all walks of life nestled in a quiet cove directly next to Rocky Branch Marina. Whether it is your first visit or one hundredth; we are excited for you to come and experience a “quintessential lodge of Northwest Arkansas”.

Fishing on Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake offers smallmouth bass fishing, largemouth bass fishing, and striper bass fishing, not to mention plentiful supplies of crappie, bream, white bass, channel and spoonbill catfish. Beaver Lake has given up several 40-pound-plus state-record stripers. War Eagle Mill

War Eagle Mill is located in picturesque War Eagle, Arkansas and is next to the historic War Eagle Bridge. The mill which is run by War Eagle Creek boasts a fully functioning undershot and several large craft fairs every year. Situated just 8 miles from Tanglewood this is an attraction you do not want to miss while you are staying with us. 

War Eagle Cavern

War Eagle Cavern is a sprawling underground cavern system located just 9 miles from Tanglewood, and is another attraction you will not want to miss. War Eagle Cavern has over four miles of explored caves and offers both traditional tours and spelunking tours. While visiting you can also experience several other smaller attractions and look around a beautiful gift shop. 

note to self, don’t go to a meeting in town and then take a cave tour in heels…but exploring War Eagle is fun no matter what shoes you’re in.
