Smoking/disorder
No smoking in rooms or a 250.00 non-negotiable cleaning fee will be added to your reservation. This includes tampering with or removing smoke detectors.
Smoking is permitted outside of room. No illegal substances anywhere on property. There is an immediate removal from the premises if found with no refund and an automatic 250.00 cleaning fee. We are a family friendly location and in order to remain that way, our policies on these kinds of misconducts are strict.
Tanglewood lodge is family run and therefore expects guests to be mindful of their rooms and their occupied space. We have kitchenettes and cookware items to be used but not abused. Staying at the lodge means the way you found your room is how it should be left. There is a hefty 250.00 cleaning fee for dishes left to be cleaned and any other disarray that requires more time than standard to flip the room. There is NO maid service and therefore we expect you to respect our space provided to you. You are responsible for any and all messes you and your party make and are expected to clean before you leave so that we can continue having kitchenettes and appliances for your use. To ensure rooms are left in order, and authorization hold of the 250.00 will be needed during check in that will NOT be run at all, and promptly canceled after checkout as long as the room and dishes are in order. We are an extremely popular location that must flip rooms quickly and efficiently and thank you for your cooperation.
Pets
2 pet maximum with a non refundable 1 time fee of 50.00 pet cleaning fee per room.
The nightly fee per pet is 20.00 per night per dog, 30.00 per night per cat. We ask that while on the grounds, you adequately control all pets. We do not allow pets to be unattended in the room ever. All pets must be crated when inside and there is a strict no pets on bed policy. 150.00 cleaning fee will occur if pets are free range in rooms and damage fees added on top of the 150.00 per case basis if necessary. Sneaking pets into rooms without checking them in and paying the 50.00 non- refundable pet fee per room and nightly stay of 20.00 per dog and 30.00 per cat is prohibited and we reserve the right to charge a 250.00 fee and remove you and your party from the property with no refund. We want you and your pets to be safe and to return, so please be mindful of our family run lodge and the stress your pets are under if they are unattended in a new space. Animals have clawed and chewed through multiple of our room doors, bed frames, molding on walls just to name a few, so we ask you truly understand why our pet policy’s are the way they are. The lodge is over 60 years old and we do our part to preserve it the best we can while still letting it be a place to enjoy and unwind for many.
Cancellation/check in, check out/misconduct
You can cancel reservations up to 7 days prior to arrival with no extra charges. All reservations cancelled a week or less in advance will have NO refund. Cancel or change room reservations 8 days or more in advance for full refund.
New reservations that are a week or less (Including same-day) will not be refundable. Bullying staff, bartering and threatening to leave poor reviews are not tolerated. Our policies are posted many times and we respect your right to choose not to make a reservation, so respect our right to uphold and enact our policies.
Check in begins at 4 pm and check out is at 11 am. If you are removed from the property OR leave on your own terms, there are NO refunds.
We understand that basic lodging is not conducive to everyone’s wants or needs. We are always determined in keeping this place family friendly and though we cannot control who checks in - we live on the property and quickly respond to issues if they arise.
We have a maximum capacity of 4 persons in our standard and remodeled rooms. We have a maximum capacity of 9 persons in the suite.
Tanglewood is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property. Any unclaimed property is subject to removal from premises.
*Note - Arkansas state law protects hotels by having theft of service charges in place if a guest fails to pay for any reason. By law it is illegal to use a hotel and not pay the bill including additional incurred charges. This is a serious offense and includes skipping out without card on file, card declining and not being able to get in touch ect. Any other damage, cleaning or smoking fees added to the room will be required to be paid as well.

Smoking -
Smoking is prohibited inside rooms. Illegal substances is prohibited on the entire property. You agree to the violation terms of 250.00. Subject to removal from property.
Cleaning-
You and your party are responsible for the kitchen and the cleaning and putting away of pots, pans, plates, cups utensils and any other used items. Our lodge has these things available with the understanding that we do not have to maintain them because our lodgers do. You agree to the 250.00 authorization hold being enacted if the room is in disarray upon checkout.
Pets -
2 pets per room. Pets are to be crated at all times while in rooms. Pets are not allowed to be left alone. You supply your own crate. We decline your stay if you do not have a crate.
You will charged 250.00 for unattended pets per offense and 150.00 added fee if pets have been loose in room. We take pet issues seriously as we have had animals abandoned for days with no food and water in rooms, some caged, some not, among other animal issues that have needed intervention so we take pride in how strict we are about animal safety.
IF YOUR PETS ARE LOOSE IN ROOM AT ALL YOU RUN THE RISK OF BEING FOUND AND HAVING 150.00 OF YOUR DEPOSIT TAKEN WITHOUT CONFRONTATION AND ANY ADDITIONAL FOR DAMAGES.
You accept the pet cleaning fee of 50.00 per room, and a nightly stay fee of 20.00 for dogs, 30.00 for cats.
Cancelation-
Calling to cancel or make changes to reservation is granted with full refund 8 days or more before reservation. Cancelation or changes 7 days or less will be non refundable, including but not limited to removing rooms for the reservation that are no longer needed. You agree that if you are booking this reservation 7 days or less before your stay, that you will have no refunds.

More bodies in rooms are a fire hazard and you will be charged for an additional room equal to your room and then be asked to leave. Hiding pets will run you an automatic 250.00 and then be asked to leave.
